April News Letter

Hey, ADKYP! They say April showers bring May flowers, but what do April snowstorms bring? Let’s also consider that the word “April” comes from the Latin “aperire”, meaning “to open”. I always think of April as the real New Year, when winter gets shaken off, and the world wakes up again. In this, the second month of spring, ADKYP is hoping to celebrate National Volunteer Month, and we bring you some awesome new updates to help celebrate spring! Let’s dive in!

As always, thanks to our corporate sponsor, UFirst Credit Union!

Events around the area:

Exciting update! This month, and moving forward, we’re featuring a link from our featured member for April. Welcome to Champlain Valley Living–this site collects all sorts of events from around the area, and we highly recommend checking it out!

Featured Member of the Month:

This month, we’re featuring Logan Williams, the brain behind Champlain Valley Living. Logan is a proud first-generation business owner who builds and maintains websites, and also helps businesses generate leads and revenue, who has come back to the area after some time away. He joined because he was looking for ways to meet new people and get re-engaged with the local community. ADKYP felt like the perfect way to do that, since he enjoyed the monthly pop-ups, and our mission appealed to him. With that, definitely check out Champlain Valley Living–his goal is to generate it into a community hub of news and events, which might benefit folks who are taking extended social media breaks.
